Bottles made from corn starch
Here in New Zealand we have [GoodWater http://www.goodwater.org.nz/] and [Charlies http://www.charlies.co.nz/#products/Water] selling bottled water with the bottles made from things such as corn starch, should be better than BPA (see our article on that Bisphenol A (BPA))
Prostate cancer
We're told this is ultimately caused by lower levels of testosterone in men, does that mean if we keep our levels up later in life we can prevent this? What would the other effects of that be though?
Aldara
A cream given by NZ doctors, apparently sold first by 3M has now been sold to another company and it can have really bad side effects? See www.aldara1.com for more information.
Alkaline diet
Changing your body from being an acid to an alkaline and make yourself healthier, western diet makes you an acidic, sounds interesting, sounds like something to look into?
Statins
We're told this is the most profitable drug ever and most widely prescribed. Its given to people with high cholesterol, works well for that but also causes cancer? Apparently in Japan they did a test on a large number of people (10,000??), the people on Statins had 30% less heart disease but had a 10% higher death rate! Not sure if this is true but I'd be very cautious of this one if you are prescribed it!
Canola Oil
May not actually be that great for you and may be linked to mad cow disease? Certainly worth checking out if that's true!
Microwaving food
